Why buy a villa, apartment or townhouse in Valencia?

There are still bank repossession properties for sale, including new build villas and apartments both inland and on the coast - now Is the time to act, especially with the current exchange rates.
Valencia has a lot to offer the perspective buyer of a Spanish property. For nature lovers you can be literally just minutes by car from the mountains to the North and West of the region, to the South you can visit the lake of La Albufera, where the 3rd largest production of rice is Spain is still harvested.
The 112 kilometres of the Valencian coastline offer countless opportunities for leisure and sport. Lovers of nautical sports will find everything they need strategically placed all along the shoreline where, with the exception of Cullera, cliffs are rare. Shopping, nightlife, culture- Valencia has something for everyone- a special mention has to be made of the fiestas in March called Las Fallas, when between the 12th and 19th of March, the streets are filled with towering sculptured statues that have been a year in the making. All day and night crowds of locals and foreigners fill the streets and the sounds of exploding firecrackers and fireworks fill the air. At the end of the week, the huge statues are awarded prizes and then set on fire, which marks the end of Las Fallas and the beginning of spring.
